A Rustic Abbey Wedding at Jervaulx

Imagine having the stunning Jervaulx Abbey on your doorstep. This is the case for Gayle and you can see why she chose to hold her rustic wedding celebrations here.
Set in the heart of North Yorkshire, this privately owned abbey creates a gorgeous backdrop and blank canvas for all types of weddings.

The make up brief was radiant, medium coverage and pinks. With the help of Bobbi Brown, Mac and Dior we created the romantic feel Gayle and her bridal party were after. Also lashings of mascara and lashes, lashes, lashes...

The girls went through mixed emotions whilst the preparations were taking place, we had laughter and plenty of it, tears, signing and trips down memory lane whilst the acoustic music was playing in the background.

The Yurt was a hive of activity. Love Letters, fairy lights and the tables didn't just have the usual wine on, no no. These guys had bottles of vodka as Alan is Polish. I thought this was a fab idea and something a little different. You really can think outside the box when you're planning your wedding and have the blank canvas!

I can't wait to see the plans that lay in store for this venue.
